The family wants you to know how much they appreciate all your support. Please feel free to post your well wishes. The family will be checking them periodically, when their health and time allows, and will keep them close to their hearts. They will also be posting any updates that they want known. Please note that their energy is best spent on healing at this time and that they are unable to respond to your messages. Hopefully we will all be cognizant of their needs and respect the family’s wishes of no unexpected visitors and limiting small talk and phone calls.
Please see the pages available on this site detailing their family story, ways in which you can help and recommended links to help build awareness of Lyme disease.

Loreen & Mark
Hi Loreen Family –
Ironically our names are Loreen & Mark, we are from San Francisco, and I too have been diagnosed with Lymes Disease. (Bit by a tick at a local Christmas tree lot in 2008, while I was pregnant). Luckily – I think we were able to treat it in time, though it did come with its complications and loss.
We stumbled onto your site & wanted to wish you much Love & Light (and donation to follow) in your journey. We hope that your travels to our town SF treat you and your family with a positive experience & successful treatment.
Peace to you and your family, you’re in our prayers!
Sincerely, Loreen & Mark

Hi Jackie, Mark & Family -
I hope your trip to CA goes smoothly next week. Jackie – I appreciate your support as we fight this monster; I feel a special closeness to you as only those living it can truly understand it. At the same time, the help and support of friends and family is so crucial and appreciated; praise God for them!
Of course, our family will be at the Crush Lyme Run. I have had some pretty low points over the past few months; but, am determined to get myself on the trails running more. I cautiously think the Bicillin shots are helping; but, when there is major die off – things are really bad. I am hopeful, that’s a good sign.
We’ll keep in touch. I am so pleased to read your boys are seeing some progress. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way! xoxo Mona

Dear Jackie –
I just love our community of Bellingham because it always brings people back into my life. I heard about your family’s situation from my friend Sharon Stone. Hard to believe how much time has passed since Colin and Ben were in playgroup together. We’ll all be there to run for you on September 19th. I’ll be checking in to see what other ways we can help.
Stay strong and we will continue to pray for you-

Dearest Loreen Family,
Hi! I came up to visit with Pastor Vicki Lund awhile ago. I have held your family close to my heart since then—please know that I am praying for each of you every day as you are on this journey to wellness. You are such an amazing family and I know that the Lord will see you through each day, even those that seem dark. He is holding on to each of your hands. Much love!

Your sparkle, strength and love feels as strong today as it did a few years ago in Bellingham. We can’t believe that your spirit and light can possibley be dimmed by this disasterous disease. Know you are surrounded by love and hope from near and far. We are looking forward to your next visit to Canada which we know will be filled with lots of laughter mixed in with a few cheers!

Bonnie Mott
Dear Mark and Jackie – I’m Bonnie Mott, Judy’s friend. Since I first heard of this disease through Judy, and reading their website, and now your friend’s very well written description of your whole family’s life now, I pray every day, naming each of you, including Ironman Mark, for strength, and healing. Glad it was finally diagnosed, and treatments are available with the help of Dr. Harris and other Drs.
My prayers and thoughts are with you…Love, Bonnie

Hello: I don’t know you but my nieces go to school with your boys and they sent me your website.
I know your struggles first hand. I went through the same thing and I am happy to tell you that you can make a full recovery! It took a long time but , Praise God, I am doing great. Lyme is so strange and the progress is so slow that it is difficult to imagine ever being normal again but have faith and you will get there.
My wife and I will pray for you and your family. Please email me if you would like any information or if you would like to compare notes.

Hello Jackie and Mark!
I don’t know if you remember me or not. I was Kimberly’s roommate at Western. She and I have reconnected recently and she has kept me updated on what has been happening to you and your beautiful family. Your situation has touched me and I want you to know that I will be praying for your complete healing. If you would be up for it, I would love to come visit to pray in person with you.
“Yet I will certainly bring health and healing to it and will indeed heal them. I will let them experience the abundance of peace and truth.” Jeremiah 33:6
Many blessings to you,
Erin

I love you, Jackie! No matter how much time has gone by since our college days…you will always be a treasured friend. I read the blog, and I totally understand why you guys can’t really keep in touch individually with everyone. I just want you to know that the moment you feel up to it and can take a break from the madness, I am only a two-hour drive to get to you! Sounds like you could totally use some pampering…like a spa treatment or massage! You always had such lovely manicures. I don’t know if you are able to get much girl time in your beautiful house of boys, lol! Seriously though, even if you only have one good hour of wanting to escape, I will be there for you. I will drive to you and back in one day…gladly!! We can gossip about the old days, or just do anything you want, even if you can’t leave your house. I have been proactively reconnecting with God for several months now and I have been praying for you and your family, my friend! Thank you so much to Annie for this blog…I was really scared initially and didn’t hear back from you, so was extremely worried. Thank you for the updates! I will keep praying for all of you!!
Love and Blessings!!!
